RETURN POLICY

ORDER CONFIRMATION & POLICY AGREEMENT

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Return & Refund Policy.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • You accept our return conditions and timeframes
  • You agree to follow the return instructions outlined below
  • In case of a dispute or chargeback, this policy and all related order records may be used as supporting evidence

RETURNS

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery, provided the conditions below are met.

Return Conditions

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • Items must be in their original packaging and condition
  • Only minimal handling (inspection) is allowed
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Once your return is received, it will be processed within 7 business days.

We reserve the right to reject returns if items show signs of use, damage, or wear not caused by us.


HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@chicbyclaire.com within 30 days of receiving your order
  2. Include the following details:
    • Order number
    • Reason for return
    • Photos (if the item is damaged or defective)
    • Your full name and shipping address
  3. Wait for confirmation and return instructions before sending your item

⚠️ Please note:

  • Do not send returns without prior approval
  • Unauthorized returns may not be accepted

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method and keeping proof of shipment until your return is completed.


DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@chicbyclaire.com.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear explanation of the issue
  • Photos or a short video showing the problem

After review:

  • We may offer a replacement, depending on availability
  • In some cases, returning the item may not be necessary

Replacements are usually processed within 7–14 business days.


LOST OR UNDELIVERED PACKAGES

If your order is lost during shipping:

  • Contact us with your order number and tracking information
  • We will assist you in investigating the issue with the courier
  • If confirmed lost, we will arrange a replacement or refund

If a package is:

  • Refused upon delivery
  • Not collected
  • Returned due to an incorrect address

A $35 CAD fee will be deducted from your refund to cover shipping and handling costs.


CANCELLATIONS & WITHDRAWAL

You have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving your items.

However:

  • Orders cannot be canceled once they have been shipped
  • If your order is already dispatched, you must follow the return process after delivery

To request a cancellation before shipment, email info@chicbyclaire.com with your request.

Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.


CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES

If you experience any issues with your order, please contact us first. We aim to resolve all concerns quickly and fairly.

In the case of a chargeback or dispute, we may provide the following evidence:

  • Order confirmation details
  • Tracking information
  • Communication history
  • Supporting images or documentation

Filing a dispute without contacting us first may delay resolution and impact future purchases.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Returns must be sent to our designated fulfillment center (location provided after approval)
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • We are not liable for shipping delays or customs issues
  • Items that are used or returned in poor hygiene condition will not be accepted
  • Return shipping fees are non-refundable
